ClimbOS privacy

ClimbOS is designed as an offline-first climbing companion. The app does not require an account and does not automatically upload wall photos, attempt videos, climber profiles, or session notes to a MesikaLabs backend.

Data stored on device

ClimbOS may store session logs, climb notes, wall photos you choose to use in the app, route planning feedback, and local readiness information on your device.

Permissions

Camera, photo library, microphone, Siri/App Intents, and HealthKit-related permissions are optional and should degrade gracefully when denied. Features that need a permission will ask before using it.

No tracking sale

ClimbOS does not sell personal data. The current app does not require third-party advertising trackers or a user account.
